We were very pleased with the service and the speed of our roofing replacement from storm damage this spring. Tim, our adjuster was very good at keeping us updated and working with the insurance to make sure everything went smoothly. They did a very good job as far as putting down tarps and cleaning any area that needed it when they were done. I would definitely recommend their service and have already done so as well.

Minnesota Roofing Company replaced the roof on my house and replaced some windows in my basement in April 2025. The communication I received was clear and timely. From receiving a quote to completing the work, the team at Minnesota Roofing was always quick to respond and kept the process moving seamlessly. The team was great to work with, and I will reach out to them again when I need the roof done on my garage.

I would highly recommend this company, Chuck was great to work with, he didn’t just send his crew out to do everything he worked with us directly also and came back to take care of a couple of minor details after the roof was done. We liked the attention to detail!

Chuck and his employees were honorable, kind, supportive, knowledgeable, and persistent getting my issue with state Farm insurance resolved and able to move forward and complete their job beautifully. His roofing team were wonderfully careful craftsmen. Roof and garage door.

Exterior Cladding That Performs Through Minnesota Seasons

Siding does more than define how a building looks — it serves as the primary weather barrier between your interior and Minnesota's full range of seasonal conditions. Our team installs and replaces siding on residential homes and commercial properties across the Twin Cities area, focusing on proper installation details like house wrap, flashing, and trim integration that determine how well a system performs over time. Whether you are replacing deteriorated cladding or upgrading for energy performance, we match the material to the building and the budget.

Energy Performance: Properly installed siding, combined with house wrap and insulated backer options, reduces heat loss in winter and heat gain in summer — lowering energy costs for both homeowners and commercial building operators.

Low Maintenance: Modern siding materials are engineered to resist fading, cracking, and moisture intrusion with minimal upkeep. The right product eliminates the repainting and scraping cycles that older wood systems require.

Installation Detail: We inspect and replace deteriorated fascia board, install weather-resistant house wrap, and flash all penetrations and transitions correctly — the underlying work that determines how long a siding system actually lasts.

Services

Residential Siding

For homeowners, siding is one of the most visible upgrades to a property. We help you select the right material and profile for your home's architecture and neighborhood, and install it with the detail work — proper flashing, trim, and corner finishing — that holds up through Minnesota winters without allowing moisture to get behind the panels.

Commercial Siding

Commercial siding projects require materials and installation methods suited to larger surface areas, higher wind exposure, and the appearance standards of a professional property. We work with building owners and property managers to select systems that balance durability, maintenance requirements, and long-term cost across the full facade of the structure.

FAQ's

Frequently Asked
Questions

We've provided answers to many of our most frequently asked questions. Have a different question for our team? We're happy to help! Just send us an email at info@mnroofingco.com.

Is Vinyl or Fiber Cement siding better?

It depends on your goals. Vinyl is cost-effective, virtually maintenance-free, and never needs painting. Fiber Cement (like Hardie Board) is more expensive and requires painting every 15 years, but it is thicker, fire-resistant, and mimics the authentic look of wood siding much more closely.

How can I tell if my siding has water damage underneath?

Visible signs include warping, buckling, or boards that feel soft to the touch. Inside the home, peeling paint or wallpaper on exterior walls can also indicate that water is getting behind your siding and damaging the sheathing.

Can new siding improve my home's insulation?

Yes, especially if you choose "insulated vinyl siding" which has foam fused to the back, or if we install a high-quality house wrap and rigid foam insulation board under the new siding. This creates a thermal break that prevents heat loss through the wall studs.
